Covid-19 Resources
With the COVID-19 situation in Nebraska, Overton Public Schools will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 School Year. We know that parents and the community are concerned. We are taking every precaution possible and we are developing alternative methods of instruction. We will continue to be strong and resilient to this situation. Overton School Facilities will be closed to non-essential staff during this closure time. Times will be posted for students to pick up Learning Packets for our Extended Learning Environment. These times will be posted when available. Middle and High School students needing items from the school should email Mr. Fleischman (brian.fleischman@overtoneagles.org) to have these available for pick-up. Elementary students can email their teachers about materials they may need.
Breakfast and Lunch will continue to be offered on a Grad-n-Go basis. Beginning on Tuesday, April 7th, breakfast for the next day will be provided with the days lunch. This will be done in an effort to limit the expose of our kitchen staff during this time. Lunch hours will remain to be from 11:30-12:30PM. There will not be a breakfast time in the morning. Again this will be provided with lunch the previous day. Please contact Brenda through the Eagles Nest Facebook page or email Brenda (brenda.buchholz@overtoneagles.org) if your child will be eating at school to ensure we have a meal prepared for them. This is free to all students of Overton Public School.
Information was sent regarding internet service if you currently do not have internet service at your home. In preparation for an extended closure, please contact one of these providers to set up service before April 1st.
